9-nitrocamptothecin
9NC is an anticancer drug being researched by the Stehlin Foundation for Cancer Research. I had an internship there during the summer of 2004, mainly synthesizing 9NC in their lab.
For my Spring 2005 organic lab class, I chose 9NC for my poster/presentation. The poster is not the most informative source, as I had to leave information for the spoken part, but it should provide a basic introduction to the molecule. Here is my poster:
