Computing
Having much other things of importance to do, I of course spend a disproportionate amount of time tending to my computers. I long ago gave up the strategy of buying prebuilt systems, instead filling up my room with stacks of boxen help together by packing tape and wire.
My computers
(some of them):- athena: Intel Core 2 Quad (Q6600, 3.2Ghz), 8GB DDR2 800, dual DVD-RW, Geforce 8800GT
- arax: Athlon64 x2 3800+, 3GB RAM, plextor scsi cd-rom, Geforce 6800GS 256mb, and several hundred GB of disk space.
- berlin: Dell e1505 laptop, Core Duo, 1680x1050 lcd, 2gb ram
Nearly all of my computers run Slackware Linux.
Projects
- mip - a web-based image viewing/resizing script
- mmep - a music player/organizer which will seamlessy interface between different file formats, especially for the ipod
(20061219: If you are looking for this kind of functionality, I suggest using amarok) - evolutionizer - evolution/genetics simulation written in C++
Web pages I've designed

Miscellaneous
- Miscellaneous Apple iPhone stuff, including USB tethering with Slackware
- Instructions for installing slackware linux on a Dell Inspiron e1505 core duo laptop
- Instructions for installing slackware on a Hewlett Packard HP Pavilion zv5405 laptop
- Here are slackware packages for running Linspire's Lphoto photo manager software. The program is similar to iPhoto, independently developed and released under the GPL. I've found it to be slightly buggy at times, and personally don't use it, but I'm making these packages so others don't have to go through the trouble of finding the source and installing it. These packages are tested on Slackware 10.1. You need to installpkg both of them, then run with "lphoto".
Please note: I will gradually be increasing the amount of materials in this section.
